Artist's Statement about Magic Carpet

An idea or seed is planted, germinates, nourished, and starts to grow. This seed happened to be old maps, outdated, discarded, but still intriguing. An idea grew, materialized, and has come to fruition in our exciting new exhibit, "Maps and Messages: An Artful Journey."

I love to travel, but sometimes find this not possible.
For years my RSVP would be "yes", or "if I had a magic carpet, I would be there."

My artistic seed grew into a "MAGIC CARPET". This will take you on magical trips around the world. View the map, plan your trip, make your reservations and fly away.
